Two mobile advertising ambassadors wearing digital display backpacks in Nashville

MOBILE ADVERTISING MISSIONS

Your brand.
On a mission.

Scratch Theory Lab puts your message where the people are—with a bright digital display, a real human presence, and a campaign designed to turn curiosity into action.

NOT A BILLBOARD. NOT A BOOTH.

Advertising that can move,
meet, and respond.

A digital display backpack carries your campaign directly into the natural flow of an event, sidewalk, festival, campus, or business district.

The screen earns the first look. The person wearing it creates the human connection. A QR journey, offer, sample, conversation, or photo moment gives people a reason to take the next step.

01

Eye-level visibility

Your message moves through the crowd instead of waiting for the crowd to find it.

02

Human interaction

A trained ambassador can answer, invite, guide, distribute, and turn attention into a conversation.

03

Flexible creative

Show motion graphics, campaign visuals, offers, product moments, and event information throughout the mission.

04

Measurable response

Use dedicated links, QR destinations, routes, conversations, and distribution counts to learn what landed.

FROM IDEA TO SIDEWALK

How a mission works.

The backpack is the tool. The mission around it is what makes the tool useful.

  1. 01

    Set the objective

Visibility, foot traffic, offer redemptions, event awareness, lead capture, content—or a thoughtful mix.

  2. 02

    Build the mission

We plan the setting, timing, route, audience, message rotation, response path, and optional engagement.

  3. 03

    Prepare the creative

Your existing assets can be adapted, or we can create display-ready graphics and motion content for you.

  4. 04

    Go live

A trained ambassador takes the campaign into the crowd, with optional street team and content support.

  5. 05

    Review what happened

We document the mission and share useful observations so your next activation gets smarter.

YOUR BRAND LEADS

White-label when you want it. Full STL energy when it fits.

Early-stage missions can be built entirely around your brand, with the wearer, screen, message, and supporting materials designed to feel like one of your own activations.

For the right community or campaign setting, the Scratch Theory Lab Explorer can become an optional photo and engagement element—not the default, and never a gimmick.

MISSION QUESTIONS

Good things to know.

Can the screen show both images and video?

Yes. We plan a rotation of display-ready campaign creative based on the environment, viewing time, and your goal.

Can someone actively hand out samples or flyers?

Yes. We can add a street engagement ambassador or plan the backpack wearer’s role around simple distribution and direction, depending on the setting.

Can the mission send people to our website or offer?

Absolutely. We can build in a dedicated QR destination, landing page, contest, offer, event page, or other clear next step.

How do you measure results?

Base reporting can include mission hours, route, scans, estimated conversations, and materials distributed. Expanded reporting adds qualitative observations and recommendations.

Is this only for outdoor advertising?

No. Display missions can work inside conferences, expos, large venues, community events, and other approved high-traffic environments.

Can this be part of a larger campaign?

That’s where it becomes most powerful. We can connect the mission to strategy, content capture, email, creative, product samples, events, and follow-up.
